2016 APICS GREAT LAKES STUDENT CASE COMPETITION: FEB 19-20, 2016

DoubleTree Hotel & Conference Center in Downers Grove IL

This year will mark the 21th Anniversary of this event and it is shaping up to be one of the best yet. This is an event you don’t want to miss.  There will also be a job fair Saturday night for entry level supply chain and operations professionals.

Why a case competition?

Student Case Competitions are based on a real company with a specific operations and supply chain problem. They are designed to encourage students to; compare their education with that of other students, test their classroom education and its usefulness in solving real-world situations, and foster Student Chapter involvement in District and Professional Chapter activities. Activities such as this enable establishing a solid APICS foundation as a college student, and help you into your professional career.

Why should I Attend?

As a Supply Chain Professional, this is your chance to meet some of the brightest students in the Great Lakes District. Many of these students are looking for internships and future employment. This is also your chance to network with other APICS professionals. You will also have exposure to numerous presentations on both business and APICS topics.

Additional information is available at the APICS Great Lakes District Website
